Dear Mr. Weiss:

My entry is correct, but a little vague, and can be misinterpreted as
giving Hoare the 1978 Turing award.  I would say of myself:

I reinvented Turing's forgotten assertion method of program verification.
I invented the precedence and bounded-context methods of syntactic analysis,
the use of (Post) production systems in programming, the dominant 
all-shortest-paths algorithm, and the best algorithm known for sampling
without replacement.  I coinvented Heapsort, the dominant median algorithm,
and the dominant digital halftone algorithm.
